About the Scholarship
The educations.com × Girls on Campus Social Science Excellence Scholarship was created to support students pursuing degrees in the social sciences. This co-branded program combines the global reach of educations.com with the community-driven mission of Girls on Campus, ensuring that more students have access to meaningful educational opportunities abroad.
We are especially focused on applicants who show strong academic potential, leadership, and a desire to use their education to create a positive impact in their communities. By targeting fields such as sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, economics, and social work, this scholarship seeks to elevate future voices of change and provide direct financial support for students navigating the costs of higher education.
Making this a reality
With the support of educations.com ( Keystone Education Group), we are able to offer one $1,500 award that goes directly toward a student’s tuition or institutional fees. Girls on Campus will promote this scholarship through social media, newsletters, and events to ensure it reaches as many qualified students as possible, while educations.com provides additional visibility through their international education platform.
Together, we believe this collaboration empowers students not only to access education, but also to gain recognition for their leadership, service, and academic achievements.
How to apply
In 300–650 words, respond to the following:
“How do you plan to use your education in the social sciences to create meaningful change in your community or in the wider world? Share a personal experience, challenge, or inspiration that has shaped your goals, and explain how this scholarship will support your journey.”
Eligibility

Applicants must be applying to a Social Science program, such as sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, economics, or social work.

Applicants must be applying to a program listed in the educations.com Social Science directory (over 11,000 programs worldwide in the 2025 listing)

Open to both U.S. and international students, provided they are applying to university abroad.

Applicants must register for the Global Study Fair to complete their application. (Attendance at the fair is not required, but registration is mandatory for consideration.)

The winner must be willing to provide a headshot and short bio for announcement purposes, which will be shared on Girls on Campus and educations.com social media channels.
Scholarship Award

One $1,500 award will be given.

The award will be applied directly toward the student’s tuition or institutional fees at their chosen university.

Funds cannot be used for administrative costs, living expenses, or unrelated fees.
